Nutrition Center Commissary – 5150 N Northwest Hwy - Chicago

Ashland Commissary – 7721 S Ashland - Chicago

Production Line Attendant *

Duties: Ensure accurate portioning and packaging of hot, cold, and bulk pre-packaged meals. .

Qualifications: Must have at least 6 months of tray line or assembly line experience in food service; food safety knowledge; the ability to stand for long periods of time; quick hand-eye coordination; a High school diploma/GED; be able to frequently lift up to 15 pounds but may occasionally lift 50 pounds and exert up to 50 pounds of force.

Delivery Driver - Full Time *

Temporary Summer Positions (working about 6 hours per day)

Duties: Deliver product to various locations throughout the Chicagoland area.

Qualifications: DL A or B class license; at least 1 year of CDL driving experience within the last two years; must be able to drive five speed manual straight truck; pass criminal background check including a DCFS check; a High School diploma/GED. Requires heavy lifting and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and exert up to 100 lbs of force.

Prep Assistant - Full time *

Duties: Assist with production and preparation of meals and adult salads for school lunch programs. Follow all proven and tested recipes necessary for quality production and portion control.

Qualifications: Must have at least 6 months of food service experience; good math skills; food safety knowledge; the ability to stand on feet for long periods of time; the ability to withstand working in moderately cold temperatures; the ability to occasionally exert up to 100 pounds of force and lift 50 pounds; and a High school diploma/GED.

Day Sanitation Attendant - Full Time

Duties: Clean and sanitize equipment and production facility.

Qualifications: Must have at least 6 months of janitorial/cleaning experience; ability to stand on feet for long periods of time; occasionally exert up to 100 pounds of force, and lift 50 pounds; and a High school diploma/GED. Must be also able to read English. Knowledge of food service and safe food handling a plus.
